Shannon headshotShannon Jordan, Executive Director of Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, has more than 19 years of experience and expertise in the sports /entertainment / event and philanthropic community.

Shannon worked for the Chicago Bulls for over 11 years as Senior Manager of Client Services where she managed and executed hundreds of strategic partnerships annually for the Bulls and the United Center. Shannon was the primary contact for the clients as well as their agencies for sponsorship activation. Her areas of expertise and focus there were sponsorship execution and management, event planning and production, hospitality, budget management, advertising, signage production and retention of partners.

She then decided to expand her expertise in the agency world at 361° Sports + Event Marketing where her main focus was account management, brand integration, event expertise, strategic sponsorship management, sales and negotiation.

In 2007, she launched her own business Raydiant Entertainment where Mike Ditka’s charity, The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund became her client. Mike Ditka asked Shannon to run his charity in 2011, where she dedicates her time leading the fight in assisting retired NFL players in dire need with financial and medical assistance. Shannon runs every aspect of the charity inclusive of: fundraising, marketing, player intake, granting players assistance, garnering strategic partners medically and financially, event production for fundraisers, partnership execution, Advisory Board development and manages over 200 NFL Hall of Fame advocates. Shannon also plays an active role in working with lobbyists throughout the country to influence change at the Congressional level for retired players and their families.

Shannon is recognized by her former and current partners for her outstanding ability to learn their business and branding desires as well as their goals. Her passion for helping others has always been top of mind for her so working in philanthropy is the perfect fit. Shannon participates in a number of community initiatives that focus on Cancer Research, ALS, Suicide Prevention and other traumatic brain injury panels. Shannon currently resides in Chicago with her husband Bryan.
